This isn't likely to change over the next four days, so I'll post it now. I started this list in September and have tweaked it heavily over the past three months. There are caveats galore, none of which I'll bother stating explicitly other than to say that anything you think looks short-sighted, not as good as another choice by the same artist, or like a mere genre token probably is. Bitch all you like about omissions, too. I didn't do a ton of re-listening; this is what I liked from this decade, during the decade; a snapshot, not a tombstone.
