I'm not sure I've ever mentioned this on either this or the previous blog, but
this two-year-old piece by Michael Daddino is one of the most utterly moving pieces of music writing--of writing, period--I've ever encountered. And reading it again (and still getting hit like a ton of bricks by it), I realize the degree that the first third of the
SOTT book was forecasted, if not inspired, by it. Thanks, Mike.
